Hi friends! I am Kayla! I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. And we are currently located in Alabama.
I am a proud military wife to the love of my life. We have been married for five years and have two absolutely beautiful baby girls!
Outside of photography, I am a full time mom and part time barista.
I get to be a stay at home mom and raise our girls full time to be completely feral and free spirited! They inspire my vision for how I capture motherhood!
I love Jesus and being able to use my work to glorify Him through showing His beauty in the little intimate details of your life.

I’ve had multiple shoots done by Kayla and her eye for capturing the moment is on point. One thing I love is her style and color schemes she creates. she’s so accommodating. And most importantly, she is always creating a fun and loving atmosphere for everyone involved!
Kayla photographed our family and it was the best thing ever! I usually feel awkward in front of a camera, but Kayla put me at ease, made me laugh, and brought me back to the moment so I could just focus on my family and the joy that they bring me. Even when the kids started getting fussy, she still made it fun and somehow still snapped some incredible portraits!
You can tell she is passionate and takes great pride in every image she produces.
This photoshoot was more than just another photo shoot in NYC. As I was getting ready to turn 40, all my past insecurities were falling off my shoulders. Of course I wanted to look perfect for this shoot, but instead it rained. My makeup came off, my hair came down and I felt a sense of freedom to simply let go and dance in the rain. It was perfect and memorable!
